Anthropic and Snowflake announced an expanded multi-year, $200 million strategic partnership, deepening a relationship under which thousands of Snowflake customers already process Claude tokens through its Cortex AI feature.

The deal makes Anthropic’s Claude models available across Snowflake’s platform on all three major clouds — Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud and Microsoft Azure — to more than 12,600 Snowflake customers, and establishes a joint go-to-market effort aimed at deploying AI agents inside large enterprises. Claude will power Snowflake Intelligence, the company’s agent for querying an organisation’s own data. Snowflake chief executive Sridhar Ramaswamy said Anthropic had joined “a very select group of partners where we have nine-figure alignment.”

The announcement came the same week Anthropic said Claude Code had passed $1 billion in annualised revenue and, separately, unveiled an expanded partnership with Accenture to deploy Claude Code to tens of thousands of Accenture developers. Together the deals reflected Anthropic’s push into data-platform and consulting partnerships as a route to enterprise revenue, alongside its consumer chat subscriptions.
