Andy Jassy is the president and chief executive of Amazon, a role he took in 2021 when he succeeded founder Jeff Bezos. He had previously led Amazon Web Services, the cloud computing division he built from its founding into the company's largest profit source, and now oversees Amazon's substantial investments in AI infrastructure and its stake in Anthropic.
