Andy Zou
Andy Zou is a co-founder and chief technology officer of Gray Swan AI, a startup building adversarial testing and safeguards for AI systems. A computer-science PhD student at Carnegie Mellon advised by Zico Kolter and Matt Fredrikson, he co-authored the 2023 work demonstrating automated jailbreaks of aligned language models and the later circuit-breaker defence, and is a co-founder of the Center for AI Safety.
