Christoph Schuhmann
Christoph Schuhmann is a co-founder and organisational lead of LAION, the German nonprofit that assembled the large open image-text datasets used to train models such as Stable Diffusion. A physics and computer-science teacher by background, he started the organisation as a volunteer effort and has said he continues to work on it pro bono.
