Cristóbal Valenzuela is co-founder and chief executive of Runway, a US company building AI systems for video and image generation. Originally from Chile, he co-founded Runway in 2018 with Anastasis Germanidis and Alejandro Matamala, an idea developed while he was studying at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts; Runway went on to release the Gen series of text-to-video models.
