Eddie Wu
Eddie Wu (Wu Yongming) is chief executive of Alibaba, a role he assumed in September 2023 as the group refocused on artificial intelligence and cloud computing. One of Alibaba's 18 co-founders in 1999 and its first programmer, he previously held senior technology roles across Alipay, Alimama and Taobao, and founded the venture-capital firm Vision Plus Capital.
