Eliezer Yudkowsky
Eliezer Yudkowsky is a US decision theorist and writer who co-founded the Machine Intelligence Research Institute, where he is a research fellow, and has argued since the early 2000s that advanced artificial intelligence poses an existential risk. He founded the community blog LessWrong and, with Nate Soares, co-authored the 2025 book "If Anyone Builds It, Everyone Dies", which calls for halting frontier AI development.
