Jacob Steinhardt
Jacob Steinhardt is an associate professor of statistics at UC Berkeley and co-founder and chief executive of Transluce, a non-profit lab building tools to understand and steer AI systems, which he started with MIT's Sarah Schwettmann. His earlier work includes the MMLU benchmark and foundational research on AI reliability and alignment.
