Lachlan Murdoch is chair of News Corp and executive chair and chief executive of Fox Corporation, the two media groups controlled by his family. The elder son of Rupert Murdoch, he took sole control of both companies after his father stepped back from their boards, consolidating leadership of a portfolio spanning newspapers, publishing and broadcasting.
