Matt Fredrikson is a co-founder and chief executive of Gray Swan AI, an AI security startup spun out of Carnegie Mellon in 2024 with Zico Kolter and Andy Zou. An associate professor of computer science at Carnegie Mellon, his research spans adversarial machine learning, privacy and the security of generative AI agents.
