Stella Biderman is the executive director of EleutherAI, the nonprofit research collective known for open-weight language models such as GPT-Neo and the Pythia suite. A machine-learning researcher who has also worked at Booz Allen Hamilton, she is a prominent advocate for open-source AI and for research on mechanistic interpretability, with degrees in mathematics, philosophy and computer science.
