Timothée Lacroix is a co-founder and chief technology officer of Mistral AI, the French frontier-model developer he started in 2023 with Arthur Mensch and Guillaume Lample. Before Mistral he was a research engineer at Meta's FAIR lab, where he worked on the LLaMA family of language models, and he holds a doctorate completed at École des Ponts.
