Unitree Robotics is a Chinese robotics company, founded in 2016 and based in Hangzhou, known for comparatively low-cost quadruped ("robot dog") and humanoid machines. It became one of the most visible names in China's humanoid-robot push, its robots featuring at state showcases including the World Humanoid Robot Games, where it swept the track events at the 2025 inaugural edition before being upstaged by newer entrants in 2026. In August 2026 it listed on Shanghai's STAR Market in an offering reported as heavily oversubscribed; the shares closed up roughly fivefold on their first day, valuing the company at about $53bn.
