Anthropic launched Claude Team, its first paid plan built for organisations rather than individuals. It cost $30 per seat per month billed monthly, required a minimum of five seats, and gave every member higher usage limits than the existing Pro tier plus access to the full Claude 3 family — Opus, Sonnet and Haiku — under one workspace with shared billing and user management.

The launch came with a companion product: a free Claude app for iOS, Anthropic’s first dedicated mobile client. It synced chat history across devices, could read photos and documents, and was open to users on any tier, not just Team subscribers.

Both moves were catch-up as much as innovation — OpenAI had offered a ChatGPT iOS app and a Team pricing tier for over a year — and marked Anthropic’s shift from a single consumer-facing chatbot toward a tiered product line aimed at organisational customers, alongside its Pro subscription and enterprise API business.
