Lovable, the Stockholm-based “vibe-coding” startup that lets users build software from natural-language prompts, said it had raised $400 million in a Series C round at a $13.3 billion valuation, led by Menlo Ventures and the EQT-managed Scaleup Europe Fund. Lovable’s own announcement named Tencent, Balderton Capital and several other new backers among the round’s participants, alongside returning investors including Accel, DST Global and Salesforce Ventures.
The valuation is roughly double the $6.6 billion Lovable was reportedly worth after its Series B round in December 2025, itself only eight months earlier — a pace of re-pricing common among the fastest-growing AI-coding tools in 2026. Lovable’s blog post cited more than 60 million projects created by users since its November 2024 launch and over 900 million monthly visits to sites and apps built on the platform, and said the company now has a presence at nearly two-thirds of Fortune 500 companies. TechCrunch reported, citing the company, that annualised revenue was nearing $600 million, up sharply from roughly $200 million earlier in the year; that figure was not confirmed in Lovable’s own post.
The round is one of the larger single funding events in the crowded market for AI coding assistants and “vibe-coding” tools, where Lovable competes with rivals including Cursor, Replit and Bolt, and underscores investors’ continued willingness to price rapid-growth AI application companies well ahead of disclosed profitability.
