Harvey, which sells AI tools to law firms and in-house legal teams, raised $550m at a $15.5bn valuation, co-led by Diffusion and Lightspeed Venture Partners with participation from Sequoia, Kleiner Perkins, a16z, Coatue and GIC among others. The company said it now counts 80% of Am Law 100 firms as customers, alongside in-house legal teams at five Fortune 10 companies.

The raise accompanied the launch of Tenet, described as Harvey’s first proprietary post-trained model, and Harvey LAB (Legal Agent Benchmark), a new evaluation the company introduced for measuring legal-agent performance. The announcement gave no independent benchmark comparison for either.

The round followed a cluster of large September 2026 raises for AI companies selling into professional workflows, including Cognition’s Series E the day before.
