Alan Cowen
Alan Cowen is the founder, chief executive and chief scientist of Hume AI, a US company building voice AI models intended to recognise and convey emotional expression, which he started in 2021. He holds a PhD in psychology from UC Berkeley and previously led affective computing research at Google, work he describes as underpinning Hume's "semantic space theory".
