Builds and rents GPU cloud capacity for AI, spun out of the European assets of the Russian group Yandex and now listed on Nasdaq.
Nebius is an AI-infrastructure company, based in the Netherlands and led by Arkady Volozh, that builds and rents out GPU cloud capacity for AI workloads. It emerged from the European assets of the Russian technology group Yandex, which Volozh co-founded, after that business was separated from its Russian operations; Nebius resumed trading on Nasdaq in 2024 under the ticker NBIS. In late 2024 it raised $700m from investors including Nvidia and Accel, and in 2025 signed a large multi-year compute agreement with Microsoft that sharply raised its market value.
