Yan Junjie is the founder, chairman and chief executive of MiniMax, a Chinese developer of language, audio and video generation models that he started in 2021. He previously spent more than six years at SenseTime, where he rose to vice-president, and the company's January 2026 Hong Kong listing made him a billionaire on paper.
