Harvey raised a second $300 million round in four months, a Series E co-led by Kleiner Perkins and Coatue that valued the legal-AI company at $5 billion — up from the $3 billion it was assigned at its Series D in February. Sequoia, GV, DST Global, Conviction, Elad Gil, the OpenAI Startup Fund, Elemental, SV Angel and REV, the venture arm of LexisNexis owner RELX, all returned as investors.

Neither Harvey’s announcement nor contemporaneous reporting disclosed a new revenue figure alongside the round, in contrast to the Series D announcement four months earlier, which had cited fourfold ARR growth over 2024. TechCrunch reported that the company employed around 340 people at the time and planned to roughly double headcount using the new capital.

The pace of the raise — two identically sized $300 million rounds inside four months, with the valuation rising by two-thirds between them — extended a run of rapid repricing across application-layer legal-AI companies, with rival Legora also raising at a fast-rising valuation over the same period. It left Harvey the highest publicly reported valuation in the legal-AI category at the time, a position it extended further when it raised at an $11 billion valuation in March 2026.
