Harvey confirmed a $160 million funding round led by Andreessen Horowitz that valued the legal-AI company at $8 billion, its third funding round of 2025. New investors WndrCo and accounts advised by T. Rowe Price Associates joined returning backers Sequoia, Kleiner Perkins, Conviction and Elad Gil. Forbes had reported the round was in progress in late October, at a then-unconfirmed $150 million; the figure rose to $160 million by the time Harvey and TechCrunch confirmed the close in December.

The $8 billion valuation was up from the $5 billion Harvey had been assigned five months earlier at its Series E, and more than double the $3 billion mark set at its Series D in February — the third distinct valuation step within a single year. Harvey said the round pushed its total funding past $1 billion, and pointed to adoption by more than half of the Am Law 100 law firms and in-house legal teams at companies including Bridgewater, Comcast and Carvana. Neither the company’s announcement nor the accompanying reporting disclosed a new revenue figure.

The round continued the pattern set by Harvey’s two earlier 2025 raises — rapid, closely spaced repricing without a corresponding disclosure of audited revenue — and set up a further jump three months later, when Harvey raised $200 million at an $11 billion valuation in a round co-led by GIC and Sequoia, extending its run as the highest publicly reported valuation in the legal-AI category.
