xAI opens Grok Bot to enterprise customers

xAI opened Grok Bot, its autonomous-agent tool that operates its own cloud computer to carry out multi-step tasks end to end, to enterprise customers. According to xAI’s announcement, the release adds access, network and audit controls intended to let organisations govern Bots at scale, with each user’s Bot running in an isolated environment that has no access to other tools or data by default. xAI said thousands of organisations had adopted Grok Bot since its beta launch that August.

Grok and Cursor Enterprise customers were offered a two-week free trial, with administrators able to activate access for their whole organisation, including people without an existing paid seat, from an admin dashboard.

The enterprise release follows the pattern set at Grok Bot’s beta launch — distribution partly through Cursor’s own subscription tiers, reflecting Cursor’s absorption into xAI’s parent company — and extends the broader 2026 push among frontier labs toward agents that work continuously and semi-autonomously rather than answering discrete prompts.
